It would be hard to have a server farm in those conditions.Rex wrote:Mmmmhmm. No thanks. The sprinklers turn on at.. 4 AM I think?

That, and, I find it difficult to sleep in times of water being sprayed on my face.ktulu wrote:It would be hard to have a server farm in those conditions.

Thanks :D: ! I'll keep it in mind.
Though I most certainly don't want to be a bother, nor do I want to force Rex out onto the lawn (or into a Monorail Cab), so I'll look at other places, but I'll certainly keep it in mind :D: .

We only have four bedrooms.
Besides, with all the rain we've had lately...
Aw, c'mon. I'd turn off the sprinkler for you.Rex wrote:Woah, wait. Does this mean you're renting my room out? Where am I going to stay?!

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
Re: glendalais's BIG Move (Part II)
Get a Mears shuttle from MCO to CP Housing. Cheap and reliable, especially since ya'll seem to arrive about the same time at the airport when I worked there.glendalais wrote:Here's another question for you.
How much time should I budget for getting to the CP Housing area from MCO using the Mears Transportation (is it a Bus? Taxi? Van? their site seems to indicate all three :confused :) .
CPs are assigned a home location for training and most shifts. However, expect to be deployed all over the place. Given what is going on at WDW with hiring freezes etc, CPs and ICPs are filling in the holes even more than usual.glendalais wrote: Also, I'm just wondering, is WDW QSR F&B a Globally Deployed/Scheduled role?
Here at the DLR, we sign off QSR CMs on one location, but then proceed to schedule them within the same position (we have seperate classifications for Counter/Cashier/BOH/Busser/etc.) at restaurants located throughout both parks (though not Hotels as that would be crossing Union lines).
Is it like that at WDW? Do F&B CMs there get schedules that have them at MK one day, Epcot the next, and then the Grand Floridian the day after?
Oh and do yourself (and everyone who will work with you) a favor and never ever say "at DLR this happens"...or "we do THAT at DLR". WDW is proudly not DLR. You are coming for a change. Trust me, WDW is a huge change, especially if you worked anywhere else for Disney and think you know what is what.
Good luck on your move and just try to relax.

Curious, how did you choose your name? Are you one of my predecessors in 'Rails?
