Weight Loss- Started at DLR, I was 260 lbs. in January. Weighed myself last week, 225 lbs. And I'm not even trying.
DLR meet- Look me up at Nemo or Buzz! That is, if I'm working.

6'4"-6'5" here. Low signs are an annoyance for me to. I've learned to watch for low hanging things. The Company D at the DU drives me nuts, it has a number of signs hanging from the ceiling and between the low ceiling height and the size of the signs they are an annoyance for a number of people and doubly so for me.drcorey wrote:yeah, I hate places that have low hanging signs, I am 6'2 and got a real headache in BK one.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

I can look around for you. I've seen plenty of Wii's since I got mine (go figure) and even a wii fit or two :) My wife and her brother picked up two of them the other day.kurtisnelson wrote:I would buy the thing if I COULD FIND IT IN A STORE!!!!

We bought a Wii and a Wii fit for the family for Christmas. It's going to be a HUGE surprise to our kids since we are very anti-video games. But with the Wii you move so much more that we gave in. We'll probably watch the type of games to make sure that you still have to move with them and not just push buttons.
So a Wii fit question...do you have to put the board on a hard floor, or will it work ok on the carpet?

There's carpet feet in the box. You just have to press them on and it will work, unless your carpet is REALLY DEEP. The only thing that's important is that only the feets are on the ground.
As for Finding a Wii or Wii Fit, call your local Best Buy and ask when their shipments come in. Best Buy get them the same day of the week, but not every week... for instance mine gets them only on Sunday, but not every Sunday, but if I call, they will usually tell me the next Sunday they expect them in. Then you turn up that day at opening. Alternately call your local WalMart and find out their truck time. Walmart does NOT know when they are coming in ahead of time, but if you call just a little after truck time, they will tell you if any were on that days truck. Then you haul ass to WalMart. No store will hold one for you. Of course in some jobs that's not possible I know. I re-scheduled my lunch break to be at Walmart Truck time until I got mine, so I could take off if they said yes.

Quite a few of the games incorporate some kind of movement. If you want a real work out, get the POTC game. It is flying swords of fury for me!GaTechGal wrote:We bought a Wii and a Wii fit for the family for Christmas. It's going to be a HUGE surprise to our kids since we are very anti-video games. Thanks for the recommendation. We already play the POTC online game, so this might be a great fit.ktulu wrote:Quite a few of the games incorporate some kind of movement. If you want a real work out, get the POTC game. It is flying swords of fury for me!
