His idea of fun must have been doing a cost analysis of everything he saw.

You know, there are just some people that should not go to the parks!!!

Sounds like "Debbie Downer" with a pocket calculator.

Well, it's interesting that you say that... in his spare time, he makes chart after chart and report after report.
Also, all through the parks, my husband keeps an eye out for the type of lighting each attraction uses. He sells sound and lighting equipment. Finally at one point I said, "yeah I know those are Par cans ____" and he got the hint.

He really enjoys the parks like I do, so we know that to have a good time, it will cost you a little bit. It's not like it was back in 1989 when I went the first time and my tickets say $25 for kids and $30 for adults. But we also feel that we get what we pay for, which is why we have never really had a bad experience due to the parks and cast members. :)

It's sad that there actually exist some folks who don't know how to have fun. I hate to think what his childhood was like.

I never let an SG ruin my day. If I get upset, my leads can tell, and I get in trouble for that. I just hope their car gets towed or they get an upset stomach from the food. It will come back to them.

I have to save 5 to 10 years for a 2 week trip to Disneyland.
and I always act like a guest. I never run around screaming,
"This GD trip is costing me 2500.00 and I want you to treat me like GOD!"
other people scream, walk into you, cut infront of you, etc.
people have no manners these days....

I can understand that. I did sound for bands and will always check out what systems and components are in use.

I also look for network applications and data storage opportunities (picture storage on Splash and Space Mountain). Ya can't stop after living with that stuff for years.

I do have a good time even while looking.

You might want to keep your husband away from me, too. Theatrical lighting is one of my favorite things in the world. I have a hard time sitting through many shows without seeing a transition I could have made fit better, or how I would have lit a section of the stage differently.

Hehehehe.... my SO, an amature theatrical electrician with our theater company of choice, does the same thing every time there's any theatrical lighting in the area anywhere. Even in restaurants (we were once in a place for an easter brunch, lit with little bitty parcans.) I want to take him to Broadway so I can see his eyeballs fall out of his head at the lighting rig they had to wrok up for "Wicked."

I do the same thing with carpentry and scenic paint.
