Finally the CM called RCES and they sent a squad with a Jaws of Life; put the JoL down at the bottom of the posts and it then pushed them apart and she was able to get her leg out.
I wonder what the maintenance people thought of when they had to put the fencing back together.
Of course Judy was very careful about leaning on fences in the future.
THAT is something I would do as well. Things like that happen to me all the time. Thankfully not yet at a Disney Park, just in my sad little life. :p:

We were buying tickets to get into the Louvre when we hear a blood curdling scream. Some kid had managed to get himself between the moving rubber hand hold on one of the escalators and a railing. The rubber was moving across his stomach and pulling him farther in. Luckily a guard ran over and hit the E-Stop button before the kid got much of a friction burn. I have seen this time and again in both my professional life and private. Some people have attitude of "what can I get for free" or "how can I make this pay me" every once in a while you run across people that want the "world" to give them a living, weather to put themselves in a situation that they can sue someone or a big corporation, or see how they can manipulate the rules to benefit themselves. Its the modern day equivalent of begging or scamming. you see it every day. Some of the SG's that a lot of people talk about here, and other places, seem to have this attitude, and you are right, it does seem to be getting bigger.susislicker wrote:I really don't get it. The other SGs just make for good stories and bad shifts.... :mad:
I thank every CM for giving me a safety spiel, they are trying to keep me in one piece, unbleeding and alive. :)

We never figured out how she had gotten it in, and she was unwilling to try again. When we were trying to get it out (and she was wearing shorts, so no clothing in the way) the CM and I both (and later the squad people) attempted to both support her (while she was holding onto the horizontal rail at the top) and maneuver her leg. It must have been the angle that the leg went in that allowed the skin to compress enough to go in, but when trying to get it back out the skin would have been stacking up against the bones.susislicker wrote:How in the world did she get her leg in there in the first place? I did value my life and if I had even taken a camera out she might have killed me. Luckily for us it was a slow time of year and really before digital cameras had caught on.
