By the way: I wanna send much love and thanks to Zazu the SmilieMeister for giving us all the smilies we will ever need! He allows me to say Happy Chanukah in the best way possible...with a smilie!

Sometimes, just to get it out of my hands if I am walking in a guest area, I have been known to put a bottle of Coke (Powerade, Gatorade, etc.) in my pocket, then I take it out at the break room. Usually, I get a funny stare. So I come back with, "I keep that there so if someone goes, 'Hey, buddy, is that a Coke in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?' I can reply, 'Well,...'"susislicker wrote:Wallaby replies, "That is not the MIMS in my pocket, I am just happy to be getting off busses and going to KSR!"

Well, I drove a truck for about five minutes, the rest of the day was orientation (Policy and Procedure was so much fun! Manager seemed glad to be in that class, too!)susislicker wrote:So Wallaby, did you do your first KSR trip yet? I thought, I remember that Saturday was your last bus run? Let us know if you did, how it went! Anxious to hear! :D:

I do hope they do not get rid of the automatic spiels that are visual. Being hard of hearing I can never understand what the drivers are spieling from the front of the bus when I am strapped in the wheelchair spot. With the visual spiel I know where I am and where we are going. I don't have to hope that I am going where I want to.Big Wallaby wrote:I also happen to know they have been getting a LOT of guest feedback on the automated spiels on the buses, and most of it not good. To the credit of the transportation managers, they're starting to take heed.
