We saw quite a few Heelies on our 2/5-2/15 trip. And quite a few Brazilian groups and cheerleaders.
On 2/6, we ended up at breakfast at CP with a Brazilian group. I was in the buffet line with them and actually this group was very nice, polite, quiet and non-pushy. I thought maybe I had entered an alternative universe. After breakfast, we went out and were almost mowed down by another tour group and then all was right with the world. :D:
The cheerleaders were either really nice or really choke-worthy.
But this is the heelie thread. So......I saw a security guard make 2 kids take out their wheels at DTD on 02/08. I almost hugged him.
Saw several kids wipe it.
My husband and I discussed how ridiculous it was to wear them to WDW and how they weren't allowed in the parks several times within earshot of the Heelie squad and parents. Got nothing but some dirty looks.

We tried.
The best one was the kid who was about 7 at Tusker House. He and his big brother (probably 12-ish) had them on. They sat behind us, but the kids decided to wheel around. The younger one was BAD at it and kept falling and could not go without watching his feet rather than where he was going. This was early morning. During breakfast. Wheeling around right where you come from getting your scalding hot coffee into the seating area. I was just waiting for a tray to rain down on his head.
I couldn't see Mom and Dad, since I had my back to them. I leaned toward my husband who was across from me and said.."Let me guess. The boys are doing whatever they want. Dad is sitting there half watching, half looking bored, and Mom is busy worrying about another kid. Probably a little girl."
He smiled and less than a minute later, the family left, walking by. Dad, the two heelie boys, then Mom and an approximately 2 yr old girl. My husband was pretty impressed with my deductive abilities. :D:
Our only REAL SGT moment was on the bus from DTD one night. The driver was training, so there were 2. The trainer noticed about 1/2 way back to SSR that a guy had an alcoholic drink. She told him if she had seen him come on with it, she would have made him toss it and that he was not allowed to drink it on the bus. He kept sipping away, so she told him to stop and get rid of it. He got really belligerent with her and said she was rude.
No, she is pissed because you cannot follow directions, idiot.
Then some other guy starts telling her she could have handled it better. Then, of course, since we are on a bus with my fellow DVC members, he says the phrase that makes me want to punch him "WE PAY YOUR SALARY."
She has the driver pull over and is going to call security. When we got off, we told her thank you and to try to have a good night. My husband wanted to tell her that if the idiots complained, that we would be happy to let her boss know that she was right in every way.
I have a knack for bus incidents. I'll have to post about the first one another time. :D:
