Yep! Years later I was umpiring a baseball game and our old batboy was on one of the teams. I got to chat with him since I wasn't working home plate. I asked how Barney was and he got this "oh crap" look on his face and asked me to be quiet about that :D:

Not in the parks but we were having dinner in Lahaina a couple of nights ago. We'd been seated for about a half hour. The hostess seated two guys in the booth next to ours. I glanced over and one of them was Carlos Santana.

I told my wife, whose a very good classical guitarist. She said, "Who?"

"Carlos Santana." I replied.

"WHO?' she asked again.

"C a r l o s S a n t a n a!" I replied

She looked over and almost fell off her seat.

I think she hit on him when we were leaving.

It would suck, being disturbed on your vacation for autographs and photos. That's why I don't want to be famous.

Mick Foley was in the park last month. I came just in time to talk to a CM friend at the Opera House when he walked out of the Art Gallery. Apparently, he befriended an Opera House Lead on one of his visits and visits the Lead whenever he got the chance. I couldn't believe my eyes, my mouth. He just smiled and gave me a "How ya doin'?" face expression. I didn't want to disturb him during his vacation, maybe if he was alone, but he was with his son.

A few weeks ago when they were filming for the Christmas Parade, I saw Miley Cyrus and her family in F-Land. It was interesting, I didn't realize it was her until about three glances. The way her family was set around her kept anyone from getting a really good look at her.

Later, I heard from a friend who was in the tunnels that they saw Billy Ray going from group to group of CM's, and even up to individuals, just to say hi.

It must be tough having a mediocre career and being eclipsed by your daughter.

She'll be a has been soon enough. She wants out of the Disney show and without Disney's backing, she'll quickly disappear into obscurity.

But yeah, I have always wondered how he feels about that.

I learned early on that the entourage attracts attention.

go as a family, be a family, and do family things, even if people recognize you they think you are just somebody who looks like somebody.

Have a plaid, or a group, are "detail" with you and people will get curious.

Hopefully her old man got decent business sense when he was a one hit wonder to manage her money properly. There's been so many stars that have been financially raped by crooked business managers. Musicians seem to get screwed the worst.

There was a Hogan Knows Best show where the family went to an amusement park dressed in disguises and used goofy accents. No one recognized them.

Goliath met a Tampa Bay Buccaneer the other day. Had no idea who he was until a Playhouse Pal told him. He noticed the plaid sitting with them, though. And he made the son cry.
