Nope, both guesses about a WDW/MCO link are off. Way off. Like 2500 miles off.
The link in question was proposed by one local official as something that could be forced in return for the Disneyland Monorail crossing a public road, which convinced this official that it was now a public utility.
He was wrong about that, but it's hardly the first time an Orange County official misunderstood the law.
Any more guesses now?

Disneyland and an airport? Think I read something (an ad) way back about "Flights to Disneyland"

You two are both half right -- one end of the line was to be at Disneyland.
Anybody need a hint?

Well it winds from Chicago to L.A.
More than 2000 miles all the way
Get your kicks on Route 66
Well goes from St. Louie down to Missouri
Oklahoma city looks oh so pretty
You'll see Amarillo and Gallup, New Mexico
Flagstaff, Arizona don't forget Winona
Kingman, Barstow, San Bernadino
Would you get hip to this kindly tip
And go take that California trip
Get your kicks on Route 66
Oh, sorry. That's a highway.

Zazu, remember that these are people (I use that term loosely, me included) that borderline worship a mouse and its affiliates. It's in our nature to be silly and scatterbrained.

Too true. Okay.
The answer is Knotts Berry Farm. An Orange County official suggested that the monorail crossing a public street made it a public utility, and that the County could therefore dictate expansion routes.
I can imagine Disney offering several different answers to this proposal.
:hysteria: is one.
"No," is another.
"Hellno!" is a third.
"Are you sure that Walter Knott wants our guests using his free parking."
and
"Sure, no problem. We just need you to pay up front and waive all the permit fees."
Okay, I was feeling charitable on Monday, but managed to stump my team with this lulu:
"Name four places on Main Street USA at MK where you can watch Disney animation on screen."
Everyone got one, many got two, a rare few got three, but nobody got all four.
Just to spread it out, only one location guess per person per day, please.
