I'm sure one of you still working at the parks has some complete pet peeve that makes you want to bang your head against a hard surface. What's currently making you go crazy?

Crazy? Well, perhaps more like a really pissed off Ringtailed Lemur....

It's along the lines of I am Sams' post, but with a slant on the alarming
number of completely unsupervised kids wreaking havoc in the parks
these days.

I've lost count of the broken light fixtures in queues and various walkways,
scraped & peeled away paint with an occasional graffitti
thrown in for good measure. Even plexiglass keyed to the point there
is airflow coming though the holes so tenaciously carved through them.

Nobody seems to ever see them doing this. It's mind boggling. If
someone seeing this happen would report it and then actually stick
around for security to kick a few asses out of the park it would really
be helpful.

I think I just discovered my new dream classification:
"Gate Booter". I like it. I like it a lot.

If you ever stop and ask yourself: "How do they dress themselves?"
Congratulations and welcome to my world.

"Where's the restroom?"

I don't know, could it be under that huge "RESTROOMS" sign?

"NO! I mean where are the OTHER restrooms. The ones I want you to give me long, drawn out, detailed yet confusing, directions to so I can get lost then go pee in a bush and claim I couldn't find any restrooms."

Silly, they're always up ahead on the left.

Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

Oh I love those kinds of questions, the "I can't read" questions!

SG: Can you tell me where "JoeBob's Ride" is?
Employee standing right beside BIG SIGN that says "JoeBob's Ride".
Employee thinks: It's across the parking lot, past the highway..
Employee says: It's right here..

Now if your not a native English speaker that's fine.. I can understand asking but most of these questions tend to come from people who have ZERO problem reading/speaking/understanding English.

Restrooms I can understand a bit more, they don't always have huge signs and sometimes can be off the typical pathways but it's nothing a little map consulting and looking about can't locate.

I swear SGs do not know how to read. You wouldn't believe how many turned around when they saw the Resorts Monorail sign. They didn't bother to read that it went to the TTC and then would jump over the fence to catch the Express Monorail. I even have posted pictures here of them doing this, as it is a common occurrence, then they act very surprised when security stops them.

Hey, the rest of us don't want them figuring out that the Resort Monorail goes to the TTC. I enjoy riding in an empty cab while the rest of them are waiting 10 minutes to ride packed in like sardines.

Neither do I. ;) You wouldn't believe how many times I was asked if the Resorts Monorail wen to the TTC every night I worked there. You also wouldn't believe how desperate some of the SGs were to get through the fence to catch the Express Monorail, because they "HAD" to take "THAT" monorail back. Some even were so adamant about doing so that security had to be called to tell them to go back around. They weren't allowed to Cross over until security pulled back to the turnstiles. Once that happened a section of the gate was removed and it was a free for all.

Hey Everybody! So I just found this site and I love it already!

So, one of my biggest pet peeves is when a guest has been standing in line for ten minutes, looking at a menu overhead and looking at the same menu that was given to them by the Greeter and when they finally get up to the register to place their order, THEN they ask their kids what they want to eat. Of course the kids are extremely indecisive and, after asking and asking, the parent just chooses something for their child anyway.
Worse is when they say they are all finished and then say they're on the dining plan and ask what it comes with!!

Phew, there are so many, I'm surprised I haven't gone absolutely crazy yet
