I was once Juan from Quito, Ecuador for a couple days when I couldn't find my nametag. Now that doesn't sound so strange, but I can assure you that this Irish guy would never been mistaken for being latino, ever :kissme: . However, I do actually speak Spanish so not a problem if a Spanish-speaking guest actually approached me (which did happen a couple times as 'Juan').

But it took all my power one day not to crack up laughing when this guest was talking to me, then noticed my name tag and said "oh wow Juan, my wife is from Ecuador too. How long have you been in the States?" LMAO! :D:

Kevom was one I saw.
:( I know poor Kevom.....and Kevin the name that was actually supposed to go on his tag isn't really the name most of us know him by. I was grateful they spelled my name right...I honestly expected it to be wrong cause I have an unusual name.

Poor kid, they mispelled his first name, KevIN, and that's not the name he was supposed to have on there in the first place!

I just saw a girl at work the other day with the name Espirit. I'm not sure if that's her real name. It's really hard to imagine someone naming a kid that. I almost asked her if she was named after that crappy clothing line.

I thought we're supposed to get 2 nametags. Has that changed with the new gold ones?

At least you get a 2nd one free. At WDW we get one name tag - any replacements, however, are only $1.25 each (Though my name is so common, I've been able to find a spare at my work place every time I've lost/misplaced mine..lol). I can't believe they're charging you $5.00 for replacements! Are the DLR gold 50th of much nicer quality than the 'normal' CM nametags? Our "Happiest Celebration" tags are nothing extra special...just new design and are still white.

I would love to have a Gold 50th DLR one in my name...just for something to display at home. Wonder if I can make a quick transfer? LOL....

They've upprd the replacement tags to five bucks? I've lost a nametag before and it was only $3 to replace it.

And two nametags is necessary, too, if you ever need to get a jacket. One nametag goes on the jacket and one goes on the costume underneath. If I need to remove my jacket, then I don't have to worry about fiddling with the nametag.
