To quote Ian Malcolm, "I'm simply saying that life, uh... finds a way." ;)

What an article. Besides watching the last four presidents (and the Congress of their times), it's rare to see so little said in so many words.

Except the last two paragraphs, really. Where does one sign up?

Speaking of Zero-G sex, I read an articule a while ago about how NASA was trying to figure out if reproduction of humans in space was even possible due to the lack of gravity and "things" moving about wrong.

Damn, I was kind of hoping to ship them there for 18 years rather then locking them into a room and just flipping pancakes under the door. Then again my extent of "Raising" something is limited to a God-baby and kitties.

I like the kitties better ;)

@Wallaby: Speaking of Presidents and Politicians, anytime one of them starts to babble all I hear anymore is the "Charlie Browns Teacher" voice (The 'Wa-wa, wa wa wa wa waaaa) sound).

After age 18, it is ok to feed them whatever you want ;)
One of mine wouldn't know if I locked him in as he's always on WOW

My kitties are my fiercely independent children that I've always wanted.

You're making a mistake. If you feed them they will never leave. :D:

Yeah, I know it's old (but not as old as some of the threads on this board that have gotten revived!) but I'm going there anyway.

It's very refreshing for me to see other people who aren't afraid to inject their insulin table-side. Me, I broke all the rules when it comes to this disease (diagnosed at 33 and ~275lbs with Type 1) so I've been kind of figuring out the "right" way to do things. When in public (which included work, at first) I would always go in the bathroom... but you know what? I'm not doing this for kicks. I'm not doing it because you foolishly presume that I "brought it on myself". I'm doing it because I HAVE TO. Diabetes interrupts your daily life enough without being shunned into the bathroom before every meal.

That being said, if I'm eating out with anyone outside of my immediate family, I will leave the table. But strangers at other tables? They'll just have to deal. :) I haven't been to WDW or DLR since being diagnosed, but I can't imagine this would change. Most restaurants are so chaotic anyway, and it's not like I whip my shirt up and expose Huge Tracts of Land. So long as you're discrete, most people won't notice, and if they do, and if they care, that's THEIR problem.

Anyway, off my belated soap box now. Love this site :) Long time reader first time poster and all that jazz. :)
