I like carrot cake too. I read where the groom's cake was supposed to be a spice cake and we picked carrot cake. We tried to make the wedding reception as guest friendly as possible. And having 4 different types of cake available was one of the ways.
Congrats on your upcoming anniversary. Hubby and I are at the 7 1/2 year mark.

Carrot cake will pass. Carrot cake has frosting. It's the fruit cake which sucks. :( Your wife has good taste. Look who she married. :)
