...People actually do that?! I remember riding one of the boat rides (I can't remember which one) and my sister telling me that it's okay to look out the sides of the boat; I just can't hang off of the sides.
Argh, stupid people make my head hurt.

Michael Jackson would probably do it. Remember the infamous hotel picture?
Oh, wait, those aren't actually his kids anyway.....

I have three boys. One is nineteen and has never done anything like this, that I know of. I have two eleven year old boys too and so far, so good. They are great kids, very smart, very level headed. But, I can in no way guarantee that they will never do anything stupid in their lives. Maybe they'll listen to a stupid friend of a friend or acquaintance or maybe they'll just make a split second stupid choice. I hope that never happens and I've taught them to make smart decisions and I continue to but if it does, I hope people will look upon their decision and remember that sometimes kids make irrational, crazy decisions all on their own. Sometimes you've done all you can and horrible things still happen. I truly don't think my sons would do what this kid did but my heart goes out to the parents and all who witnessed it.
