I have read that Disney left some alligators in some of the farthest away bodies of water on property. They are no where near guests. My guess is that these bodies of water would be a good place to put the cheerleaders AND feed the local wildlife as well. :drown :tapeshut: :ticktock:Randy B wrote:The lagoon isn't deep enough. We'd run out of lagoon long before running out of cheerleaders (and I also would include teen Brazilian tour groups). I have heard that Bay Lake is very deep (at least at the south end). Maybe that would work better. Besides if they build up anough to make a nice causeway Discovery Island could be used again as it wouldn't require boat transport anymore.

Oh, gators are around and sometimes do get into guest areas. For instance there are gators in the green river you see from the train. I've also heard of gators getting into the Rivers of America and hanging out. A lot of Disney property is swamp land so gators are all over, if you know where to look.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

They should just play "Tick-Tock's" music over outside speakers set up near the water!!Shorty82 wrote:Oh, gators are around and sometimes do get into guest areas. But that would be cruelty to animals. Feeding them all that spoiled meat would be bad for their health.Princess Susi wrote:I have read that Disney left some alligators in some of the farthest away bodies of water on property. That "green river" is the head waters of Reedy Creek. (learned from a knowlegable source (begins with a Z) and verified it with aerial photos).Shorty82 wrote:Oh, gators are around and sometimes do get into guest areas.
