I am in the midst of selling my house.
We have no extra money.
But you know what? The only thing I want to do for my birthday is go to WDW - and I made the reservations today!!!!
I don't need any freebies - just being able to go is great enough!

B-day is May 3rd, and we're DVC members who are slumming it at Pop Century (don't have any points :( )

First time I've ever heard Pop Century referred to as a slum. LOL :D:
But I know what you mean. Compared to the DVC resorts, Pop is a real downgrade. What's your home resort? Just curious.

Saratoga Springs. Last time we stayed at Old Key West - but won't be going back there. The staff is great, but now I'll always think of my little guy breaking his arm!
I do like the frozen Coke in the Pop Century food court - but will miss the extra room and free laundry of my DVC resorts!

Oh my! Sorry to hear your son had an accident at OKW. It's a beautiful resort and the large rooms are indeed nice. All the DVC resorts are wonderful. We've rented points before, but when we're on a tight budget we stay at Pop since all we really do at the resort is sleep. The rest of the time it's go-go-go!
