An aside, I think we live on Hoth :( soooooo cold outside I don't think Spring is ever going to come. Hubby says he heard rumors it's been cancelled this year LOL

You know when Empire came out we went to see it right away and I was in shock. I didn't expect to see Luke getting owned by the Wampa! I was like watching through two fingers. I was just 10. I hated that movie and didn't see it again for years.

Years later, it's my favorite of the original trilogy.

I guess they had to explain Mark Hamill's new nose after his car wreck somehow. . .so smacking in the face by the Wampa did it.

I liked his first nose better. . .

If you ever get a chance to read the book "The Making of Return of the Jedi", do so. It's hilarious. They used to send wires asking for like, Dr. Pepper and Sudafed because they could get it faster from the states than they could in the UK where they were filming. Before cell phones and fax machines and the internet. Hard to remember what it was like LOL

I loved the story of how Frank Oz pulled Miss Piggy on Hamill on the Dagobah set one day. . .

My favorite "Empire Strikes Back" story came from Carrie Fisher. In the scene where the Falcon lands at Bespin and Lando comes out to meet them. She stated that she and Harrison Ford were both out all night partying and were still drunk/stoned.

You can kind of tell it if you watch that seen knowing to look for it.

When Luke gets back from blowing up the deathstar he jumps down and yells "Carrie!" instead of "Leia!"

There is another story in the Jedi book about a dry cleaning place that lost one of Hamill's suits while he was in the UK filming Empire, and when he went back to film Jedi, they had found it and returned it to him LOL
