I love the idea of FP. It makes riding certain rides so much easier. And it's not as though FP are limited to certain people- anyone can get them.

It rewards guests who read and know how it works. Yay positive reinforcement for smart people!

Plus, like a lot of people, we only use them a few times. Mostly if we see an attraction that needs one, we just pass it by for something else.
But then again, we have AP's and can come back anytime and get on an attraction that we miss on one trip. It makes for a less stressful "vacation" than having to see everythin in every trip, and if we don't, won't "ruin the magic" of the visit!!

I was fastpassing like crazy sat, as sometimes the FP was actually shorter than the lines. I don't understand people...40 minutes until the FP is good, or 50 min wait

Anyway, I did have the slowest fast pass ever on Sat, as for some reason space mountain's FP queue was backed up at the front with more than the usual hanging SGs. I did find a SM FP on the ground :) Is there a specific reason POTC does not have FP yet? It's line is already perfectly split. I do think they need to add FP to carousel of progress, as the line was extraordinarily long.

POTC doesn't really need FP IMO. The only time I had a wait that was long was when it re-opened after being Deppified.
Carousel of Progress FP??? Seriously?

Some attractions are just not set up to handle FP. I believe HM had FP but it was eventually dropped. A continuously loading Omnimover kind of cancels out the FP process (except at PP). Just about anything that loads continuously does not have a FP unless it is CRAZY busy. Such as TSMM. Soarin' has a VERY long dispatch interval so it has to have FP.

A long line for CoP? Yeah, right. The ONLY long line I've seen at CoP is to meet Buzz Lightyear in front of it.

Being new to the Attractions LOB from Transportation, I am learning about the joys of FP myself. I can relate to just about everything in this post. Perhaps someone else mentioned this already, but I have noticed that guests use certain deception and mob techniques to bum rush and overwhelm the FP return greeter. This includes but is not limited to:
-Holding the FPs in a stack so the return CM cannot count them.
-Running past the return CM so they cannot see the return time.
-In general, trying to obtain rider switch passes without showing their entire group to the greeter.
-While at merge, using the line "the guy out front collected them already." This comes from the guests who cut over from single rider.
I'm sure there are many more tactics guests emply.

Tell me about it. Although, half the line for Buzz was actually there for CoP. It makes it so difficult to keep the 2 lines seperate.

It is confusing, the Buzz line confused me one time before.
