You may have seen the news that Hawaii is expecting a couple of tourists to drop in over the next few days. Here's a picture of the lovely couple.

Looks like we're in for some wind and rain. The folks on the east side of Maui and the Big Island will probably get hammered.

Looks like a good time to work on perfecting my Ultimate Mai Tai.

It's a little after 7 PM local time. The sun just set and it's getting pretty gray. We should see the big hit in about two hours.

For us it was pretty much a non event. Lots of wind, very little rain.

The east side and the Big Island didn't do as well. Thousands of trees down, 15,000 without power, building either crushed by trees or blown off their foundations, it's a real mess.
