It must be a common malady among silver 'vette owners to have the back end rotate under hard acceleration. At the last company I worked for, there was a very wide four lane street, about a mile long, that had very little traffic on it during the day. I was coming back to the office after a late lunch and came upon a guy in our service division, who had a silver 'vette, climbing out of the car with a fire hydrant planted in the radiator and a twenty foot geyser to the rear of the car.

Two witnesses stated that they heard him coming and watched as the rear end started to wash out, the driver over correct resulting in a gigantic fish tail, and bang, bye bye fire hydrant.
