While I have always felt bad that employees cannot wear headcoverings on stage, they know this when they sign up for the job. It is clearly communicated. In this case, she is shoving her religion in others' faces. This is the quote that gets me:
“I hope Disney will stop making a joke of my religion and accept me for who I am.”
I'm sorry. I have a cross necklace that I wear as part of my faith and have had since I was in 8th grade. It was
never visible in costume. This has nothing to do with Disney accepting or not accepting me, it had to do with the fact that it is not acceptible for me to wear any kind of religious symbols while on stage. I know that people will say it is different because it is not required by my religion, but neither is her hijab. She only recently started wearing it.

I'd be more prone to side with her if they allowed other religious clothing, and if they hadn't apparently fitted her for that bonnet to allow her to wear her hijab on stage.
It seems like in her case, even if she doesn't want to shove her religion in other's faces in a proselytizing way, but she clearly does want to wear the hijab to have it seen. Kind of a we're here, we're Muslim, get used to it, thing, which is a bit understandable what with places like France banning the hijab by law, but a costumed role is not the place to fight that.

Allah will know she is wearing it, even if nobody else does and that is all that should matter. Like your cross, even if it is tucked under your costume, YOU know it is there, and God knows it is there. None of the thousands of people need to know.

Um... I'm not the one with the cross. I'm not even a CM, but if it were only about whether or not Allah knew she was wearing it, then I can't see any reason for her to refuse to wear the bonnet over-top like they were going to have her do.

Heres a letter to the editor of the OC register from the attorney who I'm sure is behind all of this. Read the comments of the readers.

Some of the comments were well thought out. Many though, were over the top.
The lawyer admits she understands the Disney dress code. That may kill them in court. He's probably hoping Disney will throw some sheckels at her to go away. He makes 33%, she has to find another job. With her new found notoriety that may be kinda hard to do.
