We're early people, too. Our family gets up every day by 6am...the little one (the two-year-old aka "Cubby") gets up around 6:30. One problem we have with that is that we can't do our yardwork or outside things on the weekends 'cause we don't want to diusturb the neighbors.

When we're down at WDW, we enjoy being up at that time because it's so quiet. We walked around the resort last year and it was so peaceful. Rope Drop is also not that bad. We're not in a race to make it to Peter Pan or TSM, we just enjoy walking through whatever gate and stolling through a somewhat empty park.

Holy crap!!!!! I COULD NOT handle a shift like that. I worked overnights for three months once and my body was shot for months afterward. Lately, because of all the household excitement, I haven't been getting much sleep at all. But, normally, I'm asleep before the 10 o'clock news is over.

Not a shift. Usually off by 2400. It's my social life. LOL

Yeah, once I got in the swing of things, getting off @ 2445 isn't horrible. I'm off property by about 0100/0130 ish, get dinner, go home, watch TV and go to bed about about 0400 myself.

Though I can't wait till we start closing @ 8, haha.

RIP Bud Hurlbut.

You will be missed.

Grad nites are the best to see if you can seriously stay awake. When I was in college, I remember classes starting at 9 am and ending at 7 pm. I also had a blast off shift 9 pm and working the grad nite until 6 am. Those where the days where the parents came to get me. Now these days my rank lets me pick what ever I want. 10:45-19:15 Sun and Sat. M,W and F 10:45-18:30. ;)

Just too damn early! Would kill me. My seniority does let me choose hrs.
