Good heavens, I thought SGs had the memory of fleas and would have moved on by now. They can't remember to move all the way to the end of the row which they were just told moments ago, but have the ability to get their children to do crap like this.

I can see why cab rides are still off-limits.

Now, for what I was going to answer...I do not know when that will happen. Yesterday, I had a whole series of events, the worst being as a couple parents came giggling off my train, Timmy came out, pointed at me, and said, "Oh my GOD! I was so scared! I thought I was going to be crushed and die!"

Not being the type to let this kind of thing go, I got up really close between mommy and daddy dearest, and quietly said so only they could hear, "Guys, you don't need to worry about your son being crushed on the Monorail. I saw it happen, and no guests were hurt that night. Thank you for making fun of my, and my coworkers' loss."

Then I got in the cab and shut the door behind me.

That was the fourth of four incidents.

So far, I have figured out that as long as I remain a Monorail pilot, I can't engage guests the way I used to. The results are too unpredictable.

As far as Concourse and Base, I like the purple. It looks absolutely regal, and I don't care what guests think of it or want to say to us. I've found that As long as I don't talk to guests, I don't have to deal with that kind of thing.

I want the old Cast Member that I was on July 3 back.

I agree. A mourning period should not drag on and on forever. One only heals by moving forward after any tragedy. Keep memories in your heart so you can keep your head clear to live on.

I truly am sorry to hear of the loss of Austin, but the time has come for the rest of the world to keep revolving.

I highly doubt anyone needs to be a member of any particular group to understand loss and it's association with related things.

In October, our local theater community lost a beloved member to a sudden heart attack he suffered after videoing a wedding. The role he was in in a local musical was recast with a friend of his, who put on his costume and went on and played his role, and we will all associate that musical with that loss, and you can bet that on taping night at several area companies, you can bet for a good long time, everyone's going to be reminded that he's gone, when he's not there taping the video.

My grandfather just died on this past year, on Christmas Day, but just because I'm not a cast member doesn't mean, I'm not going to associate that with Christmas for a good long time.

I think that was the point of this discussion. You didn't cancel the musical and you will probably still celebrate Christmas...you just used and will use those occasions to remember. That's how the show goes on and how life goes on. We pause, we grieve, we honor and most of all, we remember, and then we continue on as normally as is possible.
