The stage manager cued the group to clear off the risers so they could get the next group on, but everyone kept right in place, smiling at the curtain, until it dropped the final foot. If we're visible, we're performing!
Now *there's* a group who understand the definition of "on stage". Bravo!

Attention Dallas-area SGT'ers -- mark your calendars: Two weeks from tonight VM will be holding our dress rehearsal -- our last rehearsal in town before we all leave for Philadelphia. It is open to the public, and we'd love to have you come see our contest set and cheer us on!

Last year's dress was held at a high school with an auditorium that had 400-500 seats, and it was packed to overflowing, so this year we'll be at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, where we've held our three yearly show series for the past several years.

So please come on down -- there's no admission (though you may have to pay to park). We'll work on and perform our contest set at least twice, let you see some of the behind-the-curtain stuff that goes on, and probably perform a few other songs for you!

Vocal Majority Dress Rehearsal
Thursday, June 24, 7:00 p.m.
Charles W. Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts
Richardson, Texas (Hwy 75 @ Galatyn Park, just south of the Bush Tollway)

Would it be too much to ask that you hold it a little closer to Vermont?

Hey, Wombat...I swear I saw you on Jeopardy tonight. The guy was an assistant DA from Texas....I did a double-take at his name to make sure. Can't wait to see you...less than three more weeks!

I'll check my calendar. Seems like something is going on around that time, not sure what though...

Nope. You can always bond out later when they arrest you for failure to appear. :D:
