Ok so here is a new SG trick that I played today. I had a really annoing guest asking me every question and trying to trick me into putting more than 4 with the pilot so I finaly broke down and told his the following. "Sir I would love to put you and your family in the cockpit with the other family but there is a little part of the government that we are governed by called the FAA and they require that only 4 are allowed up front." to this he responded the FAA and I said "Yes sir, the reason is because we fly more than 10 feet off the ground" This got him to be silent as the train pulled into the station. He then boarded the train and as the train left I couldn't help but laugh because he actualy thought it was true.

So Wallaby next time you have a problem try this and see how many people step back because you used a three letter governemt acronym. :)

If the track went over Adventure Land you could add rules the Bureau Of Indian Affairs require.

Actually a better branch would be DHS, as you might be talking with someone that knows about flying, but DHS seems to have their fingers in just about everything! (call it a security rule!)

That's great, I usually just say that it's a fire department rule. I'm going to use the FAA one from now on, that seems to cause less damage to guest relations than telling them that the weight of 8 people could cause the front cab to fall off. :D:

How about a aerodynamics rap? Tell 'em lift is required for the monorail to travel properly on the beam and if the front is overweight the speed can't exceed 5 MPH.

Wont make the front cab fall off... The only thing that "could" happen is tha the nose could drag on the beam. If you talk to any of the Mono Maint. guys that freq. the TTC.. they will tell you that it is all a load of crap... We could not stuff enough people in the front at any given time to make any of the crazy BS that we are told to happen. Point being.. I have seen 7 people step out of the front cab once... No issues what so ever.

actually i had a family of 3 in the front cab about a month ago two parents who were very overweight and their child who was on the way to being just like them. I left the ttc on resorts with the parents up front close to the windows and the kid trying to look over my shoulder when I left the front dragged and made a rather loud noise then when I got up to speed it stopped but every station I left the train dragged I was about to call central thinking it was something else but when they got out and another family got in and it didnt make the noise I knew it was true!
