That's correct, but Barry isn't on that list. Hey, regardless his music, the guy can laugh at a joke made at his expense. Add his willingness to perform the original Kentucky Fried Chicken song on tour and he's okay by me.
Zazu, You so totally ROCK!
He also did Dr. Pepper,You Deserve a Break Today(McDonald's), I am Stuck on Bandaids, among others! :p:
:flybongo: NO BULL!!!!!:D:

What's the Kentucky Fried Chicken Song?

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

What a great thread! A trip down memory lane...I guess my obsession with Fred Astaire goes right along with it. Now, I would have married him!!
I used to watch his movies and Shirley Temple every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. They had what they called the Matinee movie on TV in the 1960's. We never missed it. All the old Abbott and Costello and musicals and Three Stooges you could get! Loved it.
Now I watch TCM and sometimes AMC. AMC does not show American classics much anymore . They are showing all kinds of movies, they had one from 2004on yesterday, Matchstick Men with Nic Cage, that is NOT a classic! Lots of Bogart, Africam Queen was on TMC this weekend, only available on VHS still, no DVD yet...Ted Turner has got all those great films locked up!
Love to hear all about those old candies and srtoes that used to be in every shopping center, NOT a mall, but what we called a Shopping Center. hehehe :)

One of my friends who is a friend of Patty Cake at Disneyland, once had me help him with the "Who's on First" routine by Abbott and Costello. We were waiting for a bus, and I read the straight lines, and he read the comedy lines.
