i was at the gym when the quake working out to take my CHP exam i'm an EX CCC(california conservation corps) firefighter the first out of my mouth was S___t and my training kick in

i think the scariest part about that earthquake was that it was a long one. if you ever look at a seismic map and be still for a little, you'll notice very tiny shakes a few times a day.

i was working at my day care [i'm in the 1-year-old room] we had JUST put the 25 lil ones down on their cots, another teacher had her hand on the light switch and BOOM. because we're pretty much a school, we had to follow protocol [try and remember the drills you did in school.] 45 minutes later, we put the kids back down to pursuade them that sleeping is good, after sitting in the sun.

Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.
