If you want to see self-entitled bratty bitches and their parents who train them, work at the DLH when the Showstoppers are in town. Think mini-cheerleaders who could probably spend their entire day at Club Libby Lu.

And if any of you have read my rants here about the Showstoppers before, you know I will probably be ranting about them until I die. They were the most ill-behaved children with no respect for anyone but themselves, and if you looked at the parents, you could tell where they learned this behavior.

You'll have lots of parents crying "not fair!" when a child with special ed gets accommations like a para or testing acocmmodations. No, it's not equal. Fair is treating everybody in a way they should be treated. Equal is treating everybody the same.
I kind of believe that's backwards. Equality means everyone has the same chances and opportunities. Sometimes, achieving that means treating people differently. Equal doesn't always mean the same. Equal is fair. It means that if student A needs 2 hours of instruction to learn something student B learns in 1 hour, if I am to be fair and treat them equally, I have to devote 1 hour to B and 2 hours to A. Then they'll be on equal footing to learn the material. If I treat them the same, giving them each 1 hour of instruction, only one student will come out ahead.

It's a question asked by most customs staff in many countries. With the background of many people in Oz some respond that way. It's probably not a good idea as most customs staff don't have much in the way of a sense of humor.

My last time through was coming back from Mexico through LAX. The guy was trying to bust my chops but I was so happy to be back in the big PX there was nothing he could do to wipe the grin off of my face.

I used to be a Girl Scout, With cookie sales I think we could earn prizes, but no actual money. Furthermore, you are responsible for the money for each box, so her family could have had to come up with that $150 for the boxes that were sold. Thank God there are decent people who want to help out.
Exactly!! It was the same way for me, when I was a Girl Scout. I never sold that many, but that's not the point.
