Stupid Guest Tricks

It was asking what character had a cameo in a disney movie BEFORE the movie with that character came out. (at least that is how I read it.)

That's why I think it's Nemo in Monsters Inc. (Finding Nemo came out after Monsters..)

The cameos come *after* the film where they were introduced, otherwise, why do a cameo? Belle showing up in Jungle Book would just confuse everyone.

But one character *did* get a mention in a film that came out years before his own film did.

Who was it?

Okay, now I'm even more confused. Was the character mentioned (i.e. spoken about) or was it a cameo (i.e. a brief appearance, usually without dialogue)? If a cameo, I think JugglingFreak's got it with the Nemo squeak toy at the end of Monsters, Inc.

The character was mentioned by name.

I think I found the answer.... looked it up on a hunch. But before I post it, is it cheating to use the web? If it is I'll not say nothing, and let somone who might know from their head say.

Well, my original intentions were to have this be a knowledge-based game, but some of these questions are way too hard. Feel free to answer.

From now on, ask questions that one doesn't need Google to answer pweeze! :)

I didn't google.. I wikied the specific movie I thought it happened in, cause I'd forgot the characters name, remembering only his role... although this could be wrong, because the second movie in this case is a sequel to the first.

Was it Al the Toy dealer from Toy Story Two, who was mentioned once in the first Toy story?

I havent answered any yet cause everyone beats me to them :D:

Please dont take this the wrong way,.......most of the folk on here are very knowledgable about odd little facts about Disney and like a challenge. Remember that quite a few of the members of this site have gone thru Traditions class at the Disney Parks. Some of the CM's have been employed at Disney for many many years and they pick up even more knowledge that way. The harder questions make everyone think just a little bit more. And searching for the answer on the internet makes it like a scavenger hunt of sorts and you may learn something else interesting along the way.

Well in POTC : COTBP Bootstrap Bill was named but not seen, he is in POTC II
and III, same as Davy Jones, but I'm thinking that is not the answer. :(
