LOL, oh I've heard some real horror stories about FL...
I consider myself a very tolerant, happy person...but I would lose it there (or anywhere at MK for that matter). Kudos to those that can handle it. I personally find Epcot to be just my style, although I wouldn't mind HM over at MK.

Yeah. I'm not sure which one is worse...CDS or Work Brain.EeyoresButterfly wrote:Ah CDS, how I loathed thee. I will never forget the day I got sent to Dumbo LongWalk three times in a row! I went to long walk, got a break, went back to long walk, had to fill out an incident report, back to long walk, rotation bump to CDS, back to long walk! As it was in the height of summer, our Coordinator had somebody else relieve me of the position.
If you want to hear about real fun, talk to Entertainment people about Work Brain. That system is an absolute nightmare. I hear it works great for most areas, but it caused nothing but headaches for entertainment when we switched over from ETR. (I don't know if they've worked out the kinks yet or not, hopefully they've been able to beat it into submission.)

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Mmm, they seem to have worked out most of the kinks of WorkBrain. Still have them every now and then, but a lot better than last year with just plain wrong shifts getting posted for you on it.
And CDS is fun. End of the night, so every one is bumping out. and you log into it and get ... someone's bump out... Log in again and you get yours... Silly comp.
And as for the weird logic of CDS not giving you your break at the comp some times has to do with walk times. It is too early to just give you your break outright, but if you use the comp, you are INSTANTLY at your position according to it. And that adds your 9 min walk time for you break start. So then it is now not too early to start your break even though the person right behind you gets it and you now have what amounts to a 24 min break. Hey, I wouldn't complain then.

CDS gives, and CDS takes away. It's a mystery.Mad Maxx wrote:Mmm, they seem to have worked out most of the kinks of WorkBrain. Still have them every now and then, but a lot better than last year with just plain wrong shifts getting posted for you on it.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.
