NO problem, when we go back in Sept, DW and I are going to try and schedule chance encounters with any SGT "crew" we can find!!Big Wallaby wrote:Just don't ride with the guy on Safaris I rode with a week ago... to him, all the birds were pelicans, including the pink-backed pelicans, the greater pelicans, the marabou pelican and the saddle-billed pelican. We even saw some pelican eggs out on the savannah, which means the pelicans must be close!
Oh, and the Nile alligator, Thomson's gazelle which could leap the length of the bus and the other things I learned that weren't on any of the paperwork I've seen were all extremely interesting. Oh, how I wish I had had my recorder with me. I was a bit surprised the giraffes weren't the most ferocious animal on the Savannah.
Ride with me instead.

Aw thank susi, you're awesome. I will be sure to keep you updated. I will be back down there around the 20th or so of May. I hope I get to see you!susislicker wrote:You definitely sound like a special CM! Do not let the beauracracy of the company destroy your love of working there. I hope we get a chance to meet you when we come in May. We had an awful experience on the Land attraction... We had a loader at The Land put us into a seat on a boat and Ralphie and I are fairly big people. Anyway if you are still at The Land or Circle (which we love) we will come and say, hey, and give you a big hug! I like hugging people, it is such a nice way to say you ARE important! I know you would rather NOT be at The Land or Circle, but we will know where you are, if you keep us updated here and come see you!
My favorite attraction? Soarin....LOVE it!!!!!!!! we can do Soarin' over and over at both EPCOT and DCA. I could do Soarin' all day and be happy!
As to the Land incident, I'm sorry. I have been guilty of that once or twice when I started, but being a big guy myself, 6 foot 1, I know that can be uncomfortable. I try to judge as best I can but management is all but beating us with a stick to get our hourly counts up in the summer. But May??? that's kinda ridiculous. If you see me, I'll put you in your own row! ;) I'll be sure to keep you updated on where I am. I got to perm greet at soarin' for one day because I had a friend who was a co-ordinator over there and they were short. That was the best day of my life!!! I could not stop smiling. They even let me do the magical moment which entails pulling a family in the rotunda and backdooring them! That is so much fun! I got to do the load spiel and everything! (Some of the Soarin' cm's were shocked that I had it already memorized and they had been working there for a year and didn't know it...) I am the exact same way about soarin' I used to be OBSESSED with airplanes so it combines my two loves, Disney and Airplanes. I still think Disney would make a killing if they started their own airline... I'm getting sick of flying nowadays, everyone is so rude!!! Grr! Thanks again!!!

I was thinking a Disney resort themed around aviation would be awesome. Of course, I think it would have to go over by Epcot.
DreamFlight (I think I got the name right) was always one of my favorite attractions. I do miss it.
So, when you say you would give Susi and Ralph their own row wherever they are, do you mean on Soarin' as well? :D:

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

That would be cool, one of the attractions could have a different version of sorin', only with a TSA line instead!!!!

LOL, I always thought that would be fun too! Like the check in counter could be ticketing, bell services could be baggage claim, the hallways could be themed like jetways. And your name could be up on a big arrivals board!!! ;)Big Wallaby wrote:I was thinking a Disney resort themed around aviation would be awesome. Of course, I think it would have to go over by Epcot.

If I could get to soarin' I'd do my best to give them their own row. But I'm pretty sure I would get a reprimand for that. Management will get very mad if you leave any seats empty on the flights... :(

PLUS the SG's could experience "security land" where you are greeted with a bunch of CM's who have been done wrong by SG's, and the CM's have rubber gloves and a hand dispenser full of lubricant!!!

Oh my!!DisneyMom wrote:Gives the term "Early Entry" at the Park a Whole New Meaning!![]()

I could also think of several attractions, one could be called "rendetion land" where you get taken to an airport, put on a windowless 737, and flown to a country that allows waterboarding of SG's!! DOn't need any info from them, just want the SG's to know what it feels like to be treated like they treat CM's and other guests!!
