Well, I went to AK costuming today, and picked up my costume for my first day on KSR. Weird feeling going into a different costuming. I love the new belt buckle!

As I have said before, I start next week in KSR. However, bus scheduling has me scheduled to work there. The managers at all the hubs know, but I am curious... if I let it go and they give me points for no call/no shows, do you think they will remove them when they come looking for me and discover I am in a new department? I am almost curious enough to try. Almost.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Wallaby you been with SGT a long time so what do you think Zazu, Polar and other Disney employees would tell you? I seen enough posted about messed up records to know that you should know the answer to your question. Do not expect your no calls to dissappear magically even if they should. Nothing is meant to be easy at Disney.

Oh, I know. That's where the "Almost." comes from.

And now, ladies and gentlmen*, boys and girls, bus drivers of all ages! I would like to invite those of you who will be in the Disney World area this Saturday, from 5:15 PM until the Magic Kingdom closes, to join me on my last day in buses. Hear the spiel that I worked so hard to create... okay, plagarize! See the antics as they happen! Hear the joke I just started using this week! Watch and be amazed as I deftly move a bus around Disney property! Watch as I take a Nova through the Stolport Loop de Loop! Learn facts about things my bus passes! Watch, as for one of the last times ever, I combine the ideas of being a Cast Member and a bus driver. Witness the scariest force ever known to mankind... Cast members in Cars!

Okay, in all seriousness, for those who can, I would love to have you join me this Saturday. There might even be (really, really cheap) door prizes! Join me as I end my bus driving career in the place where it all began (for Disney), the Magic Kingdom. I'm going to try to twist the coordinator's arm with cookies to give me a good bus to have all night (one where MSiM doesn't matter, I can talk over it instantly).

Oh, and I've taken to calling it MSiM. Mediocre Service in Motion.

If you don't know who to look for, please PM me and I'll get you the info.

*I use the term loosely

A request for those of us not able to attend. We would appreciate it if someone who will be attending would make a tape recording of as much of this "grand tour" as you can. :) And if you have the ability, an MP3 posted of the recording would be nice. If you have the recording but not the MP3 ability, I am willing to try to make one. Between my job and my home set up I can make MP3s from almost anything (CD, reel-to-reel, DAT, cassette, MD disk, etc). And once the MP3 is made I would be willing to send the resultant mp3 to anyone with a web site to host the recording on (sorry I don't have one).

Wallaby, this is one bus ride I'm sorry I'll miss. Have a great time (but don't get so crazy that you wind up as a story here on the "CMs that got fired" thread)!!! :D: :D: :D:
