You all are cracking me up......
Being a Texas resident I have seen a lot of people shooting first and asking questions last recently..
I don't think smashed toes warrant a shooting, Just a thrashing..

My favorite is still the old lady with her daughter or granddaughter on the phone with 9-1-1, and grandma is shooting a would-be burglar.

I have, at times, run over people's toes. But my ECV is a three-wheeler and that means they had to be so close that they got their foot under my back wheel.
Same here. I have run over toes but only when someone has abruptly cut me off without warning or walked so close to the chair that their foot
got under my wheel. Oh, my free wheel switch isn't in the back on my chair. It is actually 2 levers on the front of the chair. Another way to get run over with a PWC is to walk to close on the controller side and hit the controller with your bag or hand. Since I normally do not have my full hand over the controller it can easily happen. Careful of left handed controllers. :)

*cues up Seinfeld episode.
more than 4 1/2 mph if she is in a offsite rental. Less then that if it is a Disney rental. Personal ECV or PWC depends on the vehicle. Mine goes 6mph at rabbit speed which I rarely use.

All I can think of is the Paul Newman chase scene in "Silent Movie". 4 people in high speed electric wheel chairs. Gotta love Mel Brooks.

Suddenly I predict the first annual SGT wheelchair race. Chairs with the front wheels 20' out front, a huge nitro-burning engine, chrome pipes extending up behind the seat (throwing flame), and a drag chute. Oh, and Darph's chair has enough cup holders on the arm rests to hold more than one 6-pack. :D:
