In keeping with the theme of this thread, here's some things that have nothing to do with really tall broadcasting antennas or goofy dogs.

1.) Our landlady filed a retaliatory eviction notice against us in early January--but was too cowardly to hand it to us, instead taping it to the front door. Not only that, this was done Jan. 6th, and we were supposed to be out yesterday. For a 60 day notice, I would think we should be allowed to stay until Apr. 6th. Especially since my roommate C.J. got a storage space, but the guys who were supposed to show up with a truck to move us flaked out on us yesterday. On top of that, none of us has found a place to move to, though one lady did move out last week and is living wherever. Please keep us in your thoughts.

2.) I sent an Easter ecard to my youngest sister, who, after saying she got t-boned again, and needs to be treated for PTSD, told me WE ARE GREAT-AUNTS!!!! All the information I have so far is my new little grand-niece is named Shelby. Shelby's mom is my oldest niece Megan. I can't wait to get pictures, etc.!

I don't know one way or the other, but, if you were given a 60 notice on January 6th then 60 days was up around March 6th give or take due to leap year. If that is true I'd say that you were given quite a bit of leeway on the time.

UPDATE-- my roomie C.J. and I loaded the truck on two consecutive days--the guys who flaked on us did show up, but spent only 1 1/2 hours loading the truck, the rest of the time goofing off--and drove down to the storage place and unloaded. Wednesday I got my pastor to help us with the refrigerator and freezer, which helped a lot. We worked our butts off packing that storage space--in the end, some case furniture will have to be left behind. We left a T.V. behind at the storage place--no room, and we were too exhausted to put it back on the truck. I'm amazed I'm not hurting, as out of shape that I am, with all that lifting and carrying.

Friday, C.J. and Diane had to go to court to answer why we aren't out yet. We had found a place, but between our struggles in getting our stuff stored, plus the fact that one of our housemates took a screwdriver and let the air out of the right front tire of the truck--good thing we bought the insurance, so it didn't cost us anything to have the tire replaced--and arranging for the money, we lost it. The court says that when the sheriff serves us, we have 5 days to leave.

Yes, California law is more tenant-friendly.

When the white disks in a scintillating grid are reduced in size, and outlined in black, they tend to disappear. One sees only a few of them at a time, in clusters which move erratically on the page. Where they are not seen, the grey alleys seem to be continuous, generating grey crossings that are not actually present. Some black sparkling can be seen at those crossings where no disk is seen. The illusion also works in reverse contrast.
