They're trying to push a bullet train out here in California, but everybody's against it because it's an obvious political ploy. Besides, it would cross a major fault line, and with Southern California due for a 6.7 or greater earthquake in the next 30 years, you so do not want to be on it when the shaking starts.

Real Californians truly believe that when the big one hits, the first thing east of the state will be Europe.

Interesting thought! Sort of like a cartoon where the bad guy is sawing the limb that the good guy is on. The tree falls over that the branch stays up there. So there's a major earthquake and the rest of the U.S. is swallowed up by the sea and California remains as the only land mass still in place. Does that about sum up your much less wordy statement? :D:

After a through review of your statement and question consisting of spell/grammar check, psychological pathology of the content, and a shot of Sammy's Beach Bar Rum, I'd say yes.
