They would never do anything as a tribute in this case. That would be considered taking blame. And that they made sure to throw off on my anniversary of being with the company that directly followed the incident. Needless to say, I did not return the hello to managers above my direct managers that day. That was the day that I started going Seasonal.
Man, how things have changed since then. I will never be glad that what happened happened, or the tragic results. But in my life, it was a turning point. One that I greatly needed.
