I do not like the cone of shame....SQUIRREL!!!

I recently left "that board" due to, well you all know why. I saw that thread and was shocked! My 8 yr old has ADHD and has always waited in line. We are trying to help him learn how to handle ADHD, not get special treatment because of it. There is no GAC in the real world for ADHD. So glad I found this site!

Oh, of only more parents realized that the main job of a parent is to teach their children how to deal with life as it is, not as we would like it to be. Good for you. The world is not a theme park, it is real and it can be mean and inflexible. Without knowing how to coop with that will make life extremely hard.

The longtime convention on SGT has been to NOT mention the other boards by name, we just refer to them as board x or y or z. there is no correlation between x, y or z and any particular site, they are just various other boards.

The reasons include not providing bait for trolls, keeping this site under the radar of search engines, and providing plausible reliability. Plus, if I want to read posts on board x, I go to board x. Even more important is to not mention SGT on board x,y, or z. The reasons for that should be obvious! The CMs let us non CMs hang out here through their good graces. If the board gets inundated with people looking for trip planning help, or with SGs from board xyz or w, the CMs might close it to all but current and former CMs. I for one would not like that !


If the other website is not a Disney discussion board, then link away. lots of people link youtube videos and other interesting sites.

The CMs are most accommodating to us guests, but this is their place first and foremost. The main SGT page has a statement of purpose that provides some great guidance for the way the board is meant to work.

StupidGuestTricks.com is a website devoted to those special guests we get every now and then, the ones who seem to leave their IQ at home when visiting a theme park. Theme park employees seem to encounter these guests on a regular basis and there is always a story to tell. So we set up a place where current and former theme park employees from parks around the world can share their stories with others who work in the same industry.

Please keep in mind that this site is intended for those who work, or who have worked, in the theme park industry. While we welcome theme park enthusiasts as well, please be aware that some topics and views here may only truly be understood by one who has worked in a theme park. This site is not intended for trip planning, news & rumors, or mindless happiness, if you feel that you may be offended easily, this may not be the site for you.
