 ROTFLMAO! That would be HILARIOUS to capture! Boy, I miss those days telling kids not to swing on the chains at Small World. Of course, no one listened and paid the price!turkeyham wrote:Today I was walking along the Rivers of America. There was this SG couple. Too bad they won't let you set up cameras to catch SGs paying the price for their stupidity. You could sell the footage to America's Funniest Home Videos and get some extra money that way. ;)

ok, so we're in the last bit of line waiting to get onto the subs and there's a gal with a baby probably about 18-20 months old...she's holding him with his butt on the rail facing away from her...a cm walks by and says "please take him off the rail it's not safe for him to be there" and walks away...so what does this woman do with her precious baby? does she take him off the rail and hold him? does she take him off the rail and let him stand next to her while she holds his little hand? no, no, no...none of these things...she simply turns him around and plunks his little butt back down on the rail facing her...i just couldn't believe it...i turned to the person behind me in my group and said "didn't the cm just ask her to remove her child from the railing?" "yes," replied my guest, "i guess she's just waiting for him to fall off by himself so she can make a claim against disney for having dangerous railings"

Because this isn't just a stupid guest, they are also a stupid person in general.
And society is full of them.

They should make those chains break away under 10 pounds of pressure, accompanied by a recording saying, "Now will you keep your arse off the rails/chains? If you get hurt, you have nobody but yourself to blame. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"

That would be nice.felinefan wrote:They should make those chains break away under 10 pounds of pressure, accompanied by a recording saying, "Now will you keep your arse off the rails/chains? If you get hurt, you have nobody but yourself to blame. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"
Its still beyond me why anyone would think that the chains could support their weight. I mean, its not like they are made of gold!
And even if they don't break, there is always the good chance that the person sitting on them could swing backwards and fall. Especially if they are not keeping still.
Ah well, once a SG, always a SG...
I'll tell you all the truth, it really scares me how stupid people can be.
Re: Sitting on handrails and chains...
Last night my sister and I were at the Barona Hotel and Casino. If you are coming from the convention center to the main casino lobby, there is a circulare revilving door. Last night I was a bunch of little kids runing in circles in this door. The parents were not there to supervise them.

Typical.

Actually if they were made of gold they would be MORE likely to break (or be stolen)Disneyguy85 wrote:That would be nice.
