I Googled the quote and landed on this.
http://www.adl.org/mwd/suss1.asp#index
It's full of cites but has some funny stuff. Probably something only a lawyer could love.

That's where I got the quote -- I've had that site bookmarked for years. It's a great resource for when the loonies pop up. And you have to love the title of the website: "Idiot Legal Arguments"! :D:

You could probably fill an argument with one percent of the cites and drive a loonie crazy.
On the other hand, a loonie might just look them all up.

Revamping my title
I LOVE STUPID DRIVERS!!!! :D: :D: :D:
The insurance company called toady. they are paying me 3 times what I paid for the car. WOO HOO!
So now we just wait for th email man to deliver it and then it's shopping time.
(note 3 times is not a whole lot. $3k, but I have already been window shopping and have a few choices for that price range.)

DAMN. That's better than a sharp stick in the eye. 3 grand can get you a 'fairly' decent car. (depending on where you live)

I have found a few to go look at in the area and within a 25 mile range.
Could fine any car but I am kinda picky. MUST be a Honda. and prefer an Accord 1990-1997. :)

Imports have their good points,(great gas milage, longevity) and their bad points (parts are $$$$). Of course a starter for my wifes Expedition costs $140.00 and it's the size of a beer can.
I sure miss my 'old' Suburban some times. That old boat had a big block (add grunt here) and you get parts 'anywhere',any time. AutoZone,Checkers,7-11.It had enough balls to tow a 747 w/o breaking a sweat but only got 7mpg (10.5 on the highway. :( Your milage may vary)

Just Me wrote:The sad ending to the story is that she was probably driving anyway, now without insurance OR license.
I had to go to court fora speeding ticket once (that got tossed because it was found the officer was abusing his powers but that's not the story).
While sitting there, there were 3 Mexicans there for driving without a license. the judge asked them "Why do you not have a license?" Their translated answer was they were not legal citizens. The judge's reply "Well, I guess that's why you can't get a license. Your free to go."
WHAT?!!!
That ticked more then any other court hearing I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot of them).
