Have you ever heard comedian John Pinnette's bit about going to Disney World in August? (He's on the large size... One of his more famous bits is his "Show Me the Buffet!")

To quote:
"The first day at Disney World I wore jeans. Oh, I was a little chafed. You could have roasted a chicken in-between my thighs."

what's all this talk of bag balm and other products? you all probably have just what you need in your medicine cabinets already...it's called anti-perspirant...whether you spray it on or use a solid it works great! the spray works great on your feet if you tend to get blisters (and i almost always did...notice i said DID cuz i don't anymore)...it's a neat trick i heard on hollywood squares one night...i didn't believe it 'til i tried it...it REALLY WORKS! :D:

Hmmm, that is a neat idea. I could use a stick that is about to hit the "throw away" size.

Now how does it feel, especially if your feet normally sweat?

(any side effects?)

Sarah Magdalene wrote:Okay okay - for those that know me, you are probably thinking as to why I need to chime in on the Chub Club discussion. Well, if one is looking for a good weight loss regime - get cast as a friend in any of the parks. Trust me, weight goes flying off due to the heat, heavyness, and physical labor. In fact, we are encouraged to snack in between meets to keep our energy up as it's all burned off by the time we leave the off stage area. You sweat, you get tired, and for many friends - the pounds drop. One of the college program girls lost about 5 lbs in about 2 weeks due the excess motion and physical labor involved.

If one is NOT in the position to be a friend for whatever reason, always try to practice portion control and a minimum of 15 mins non stop movement every day. Some friends find the video Hip-Hop Abs to be fun work out - and quite comical too if you watch your buddies do it. Even just brisk walking helps. For you WDW CM's - Taking a few laps around world showcase lagoon is a great fun way to get in shape and people watch. Just don't let the McDonalds fries kiosk tempt you. Reward yourself with a juice bar afterward.

I am a huge fan of all those who are trying to better their lifestyles. Once you get your body going, you will soon start to notice changes and they will make you feel GREAT! One of my attendants carries a picture of her "former" self with her to remind her of how far she has come. And trust me, it is an amazing difference! She says she still has a way to go, but she has achieved so much already.
I've met Sarah Magdaline a few times now, and can attest that before being a character performer, she was bigger than me. Now, you can almost see through her. :p:

Naw, from what I can tell, she's always been petite. But good advice! I love going and just walking around the parks and when I do that every day off I get, I lose some serious weight.

I do *so* not want to go there.
Now THAT there is a image I can't seem to get out of mind, now that you posted that! Thanks alot! Ugh! :hysteria:

Oh yeah, we may be able to schedule our trip around the time Ktulu is there. That would be fun, Ktulu and fambly, Disneymom fambly and Ralphie and I. Could be interesting and dangerous for the SGs. I WILL be feeling better then, but may need to use an ECV part of the time still. I am still getting my land legs back, after not really walking too much for a couple years. The back takes time to heal completely as I am finding out. If I do too much, I get lotsa pain still, not the same kind, but it hurts, so I have to take it slow.
But watch out DL, here we all come, could be a great idea to all be there at the same time. FUN!

Ooh, then we could even catch up with the Bubble Ladeez as well...Ladeez, we could meet you then, in October maybe? That WOULD be fun! Uh-Oh, sounds like a West Coast meet may be order for those who can be there at the same time. We can try! :)

Well yeah, but Butt Paste and Bag Balm are much more fun to talk about. :D:
