I know prop wash. I used to fly a regional airline Providence Boston Airlines. The fleet was Cessna 402's, Embraier Bandits, DC3's and YS11's. All were boarded from the ramp and most times had one engine running.

I did like getting the 402's from Logan to Hyannis, I always tried to be first on board as the first one on got to fly copilot. Really, in the copilot's seat.

Sadly, there are not flying anymore. They had a nice niche and tried to expand too fast. They flew Hyannis to Nantucket, Marthas Vinyard, Boston and Laguadia up north and Naples, Ft Meyers, Sarasota and a couple of others in FL. Winter time the big planes went south and summer time the big planes went north.

I do miss PBA.

Wow, Elena, thanks for the great trip down memory lane! We only lived in Playa del Rey for 9 months and I was only 5, so I only remember a few of those stores. Now, what was the main street? Was that Sepulveda?

We moved to Inglewood after that where I lived until I graduated from High School, but yeah, Westchester had better shopping.

Wow, Elena, thanks for the great trip down memory lane! We moved from Playa del Rey to Inglewood when I was 5 so I only remember the big places like the Loyola theater and the Broadway, where I saw Santa Claus.

[font="Palatino Linotype"]yes, ms. m, it was sepulveda...but inglewood did have stores that westchester didn't...and inglewood also had a couple of walk-in theaters too...i remember when we were about 5 and one of our older sisters (she must have been 15) took us on the bus up to inglewood to go shopping and to see a movie...and the sear's was in inglewood...so on our dad's day off we would go there to shop (he took a long time to decide which t.v. to buy) watch the flintstones in color! we used to run under the landing planes on aviation...parallel to the train train tracks...talk about small town fun in the big city :D: ...when i was a bit older there was a place near where you drive into the airport now, but you could pull over and watch the planes taxi down the runway or watch 'em take off...you could actually see the people through the windows ...now there are signs there saying your car can and may be stopped and searched :( [/font]

That's correct, but Barry isn't on that list. Hey, regardless his music, the guy can laugh at a joke made at his expense. Add his willingness to perform the original Kentucky Fried Chicken song on tour and he's okay by me.
