Yep! That day we were on the Liberty Square bridge.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

There's a Walt Disney face character? I never knew that!

The only parade I've ever seen was Block Party at DCA because I think it's trying to get me.

Yeah he sits on a cool mini-float and is "sketching". It's cute. It is for the Share A Dream Come True parade.

You're right CMGuy. We were sitting on the liberty square bridge and we saw the push unit (the unit with Walt) coming up the street. Both Walt and the driver were trying so hard not to laugh (they did not succeed by the way) and then we saw Walt hand this fuzzy thing to the Captain who was also looking rather bemused. I doubt any of the other guests caught on, but we were dying. That was the same parade a chipmunk grew a ponytail.

On, and by the way. it is now the Disney Dreams Come True Parade.

LOL, that reminds me of when I was in a play in middle school and had a handlebar mustache eyelash glued to my face. I begin to sweat and can feel it becoming more and more detached. Finally I rip it off and exclaim "stupid fake mustache! I knew I paid too much for it!"

As for the name you'll have to forgive me. The recycling of floats and changing of minor words in the names tends to throw me for a loop. LOL!

I understand completely. It seems as though all parades/fireworks shows are phrases using "dreams" or "wishes" or a combo of the two.

A while back I was in front of the Firehouse watching Spectro when two ducks wandered out into the middle of the street holding up at least one float. Later I was talking to a CM backstage and apparently these same two ducks had held up the maneuvering of floats to their start positions. At least I believe it was the same ducks, the description matched and I believe they came from the direction of the gate so probably wandered on stage when the gates opened to let the parade through.

The next evening I was working in the Firehouse when I saw two ducks (looked just like the ones from the night before) wander into City Hall. No idea what happened to them next.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Probably went to complain about the "Don't feed the birds" signs.

Although there may have been multiple instances, because the story I heard had them doing the whole show, but using a recording for the Poco tracks, and having all the performers look off the stage-left side when addressing Poco. (It's the "SPIRIT" of Pocohantas ...)
It was probably the same show. They actually only did half, but there were segments (like the finale) where Pocohantas was refered to on the soundtrack. Most of the show was backing tracks, with the principles mic'ed. They simply pointed backstage when refering to the ever allusive Pocohantas.
