Bad show, just plain and simple bad show.

Did the F-land costumes recently change again? I thought they were all those green man-shorts/pants.

Yes about helping out in another area. Main Entrance and Main Street bank are the same department, and sometimes one might be working the ticket booth or guest service bld, but the bank needs help, we don't make a costume change, we just go to the bank. I've never had a guest ask why I'm in a different costume as the rest of bank CM's.
Also some CM in ME costumes sometimes have parade shifts that are right in the middle of their booth shifts. They don't go in for a costume change for the 1 or 2 hours of the parade shift, then go back to costuming to change back into a ME costume.

They are still the same green pants with red trim and embroidered white peasant shirt unfortunately. Merch. and maybe Foods female CMs can wear the blue skirt, and male foods wear a tan vest.Sioban wrote:Did the F-land costumes recently change again? With all that, I am suprised that they don't come up with a basic costume, and simply have different "vests" or other quick changeable accessories, so that you could just do that quickly off-stage!

I have worn both (skirt for training, pants/shorts for work), and I didn't like it.bpgstudios wrote:They are still the same green pants with red trim and embroidered white peasant shirt unfortunately. Merch. and maybe Foods female CMs can wear the blue skirt, and male foods wear a tan vest.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

It could be worse, you could be wearing Pizzafari. One of my CP instructors said that the consensus is those are the ugliest costumes on property. :)

That's true. There are a lot of ugly ones at AK.EeyoresButterfly wrote:It could be worse, you could be wearing Pizzafari. One of my CP instructors said that the consensus is those are the ugliest costumes on property. :)

DL Main Ent costumes are the ugliest at DL resort. They look like Taco Bell unifoms! Would you believe the woman that designed the Main Ent costumes won awards for that design?!! At least they are not uncomfortable. Just butt-ugly.

I've seen CMs from all forms of transportation crossing Town Square and in the break areas. I have no problem with that as there really is no other way for them to get backstage and they are only onstage in the park a short distance. They also aren't MK CMs who all have costumes themed to their land.Cranbiz wrote:Transportation CM's ( Bus, Watercraft, Monorail) are allowed onstage in costume at MK but only to the backstage access to the MO7 area. (Basically from the main gate thru town square) It's because there is no other way to get to the break area, Main St bistro or Mousecateria.
Studios was the same for bus drivers, we could go from the main gate to either the break area behind the kennel or go backstage by Oscars and then cross over Sunset Blvd to get to Take 5.
Are transportation CMs allowed to use the guest bathrooms that are located outside and to the left of the main entrance at Studios? I was in there today when a CM in watercraft costume came in and used the bathroom. Is that an exception to the rule of CMs not using guest facilities?

At the MK I've seen CMs in Main Entrance costume working PAC a number of times and one time saw one at the Toontown Balzac stand and another working on the Toontown train platform. I asked the one on the platform about it and according to him the Main Entrance costume is allowed anywhere in the park so their CMs can help out in other areas that are in desperate need without a costume change. The ME costume is pretty basic and isn't themed to a particular area.
Today at DAK I was heading across the bridge from Discovery Island to the entrance when I saw a character's friend coming the other way in their basic outfit. She didn't even cover the barcodes on the shirt and shorts. Most guests probably wouldn't even notice but I did.
That brings up a question for the friends here, if you are onstage for whatever reason and a guest was to ask you about the barcodes what would your answer be?
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Aw. :( I was hoping that I missed something cool in the last two months and that the Bavarian peasant costumes were gone. As sad as it might sound, I really miss the gold pants/skirts and the separate Small World costumes.bpgstudios wrote:They are still the same green pants with red trim and embroidered white peasant shirt unfortunately. The AK mumus are pretty bad too. One of my friends works art Camp M/M and before she knew what her costume was I would tease her and say it was a mumu.EeyoresButterfly wrote:It could be worse, you could be wearing Pizzafari.
