Anyways, out of the usual "how long is the line?" questions I was bombarded with, here comes this lady with a p'd off look at me and I was about to answer "It's about 30 minutes, I suggest wait in the standby line, it should be quicker" but she asks a completely different question: "Is this ride safe?" I reply, "Yes, this ride is safe, we make sure everything's working every morning before we open, and if it isn't, we don't open up until things are working." She then tells me she got off of pirates after waiting an hour and a half to get evac'd off, and says "Well, after being taken off that ride, I'm not so sure about the rest of the rides here, how do you know these rides are safe?" "I just told you that each ride gets checked to see if it's in working order, and if it is, it opens up when the park opens up. If not, then it's closed until it's safe to ride." She then replies, "How do you know that one of these boats doesn't break down, hmm?" "I honestly don't know, but if one of the boats breaks down, it's no big deal. We just tug it back to the dock if one of the boats dies, everyone's safe, probably a bit bored, but completely safe." "Well, I'm not so sure about that, doesn't seem that safe to me" and then she continues going in the FP line. I was tempted to say "Ma'am, you're going the wrong way!"
That probably would not have been wise. She would have bitten your head off! ;)

What did you say?

I would have answered, "Only if you never want to see them again."

When i worked at Rainforest Cafe i got some pretty interesting questions but the one i remember the most was this conversation with a womana nd her friend who was a CM from DL.

Me: "Yes ma'am, how may I help you?"
Dumb-dumb: "Will his card get him into the Lito and Stitch area?"
Me: "I's...sorry? The what?"
DD: "the Lito & Stitch area! will it get him into it?"
Me: *Now trying to be understanding* "Well ma'am the only Stitch thing we have here in Downtown disney is the one over the world of Disney..."
DD: "I'm not talking about that! I'm talking about the Lito & stitch area!"
Me*still confused as heck*: "Well, again, the only other thing that features Stitch is the ride in Magic Kingdom. Other than that there is no LILO & Stitch area."

By this point she was beyond frustrated and went to another Tour Guide (aka host). The host had the friendly "how may i help" look that turned to utter confusion as this lady talked to her in mere seconds.

We think she may have meant Typhoon Lagoon...>>

Some of the best were if the fish int he tanks real (asked by adults) or if the front of the restaurant where everyone is standing...is the front of the restaurant.

Another good one we got (at least 3 times while i was there) was if a couple could have a table in the restaurant with absolutely no children near them. which, of course, being WDW was a near improbability. That and out of sheer luck, the next large family sat near them had like 5 kids. they left before ordering drinks :D

I had a woman ask me yesterday if there was a "members discount". I asked what she meant and she said something about a "Disney membership". I go "Do you mean an annual pass or something?" Finally she tells me she's talking about a DVC membership.

WDW is a large place and there are a LOT of things one could be a member of, just asking about a "members discount" doesn't tell me anything.

I get asked all the time if we have an AP discount, a DVC discount, Disney Credit Card discount, the list goes on and on. No, we do not have any discounts for guests! The one and only discount merchandise in the parks has is for Cast Members and Cast Members only!

Another time a woman tried using a Disney Store coupon. Now that was interesting to explain that while we were a store owned by Disney we weren't a Disney Store.
