No, I don't do caffeine. It makes me crazy... er than I already am! I got too much sleep and had too much time on my hands yesterday. I was just buggin out about this nazi HOA prison camp and the doofuses who live here. No wonder I don't go outside and talk to any of em. I cannot wait til we move to Florida!!!!!! I am lonely here and talkin' to myself is just not that interesting anymore...LOL! At least I got SGT! You all know I am crazy, but like me anyway! :D:hobie16 wrote:A little too much caffeine this morning? :D:
We've got the same types in our neighborhood. They're called crimeshare sales people.
good pictures!! WE thought about a rescue greyhound, but rescued our two fur slugs because they were in desprate need of a home. I have heard that they are pretty...laid back..is a nice way of putting it!Whazzup wrote:Sisi - just got her in August, she's 3 years old and another sweetie.
Okay, I'm done - no more baby pictures.
She's pretty low maintenance since we have 2 acres for her. We give her a small can of oats twice a day along with some hay to munch on since the pasture hasn't been improved and is pretty weedy.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Too cute!! Nice "paint" sceme!! Having a horse must take a bit of your time.
Yes, Susi - we like you in spite of your craziness, in fact that's part of your charm. ;) I want to meet you someday. When you move to Florida and go to work at WDW, we'll come visit you.susislicker wrote:No, I don't do caffeine. It makes me crazy... er than I already am! Ahh poor thing! Some friends here in San Diego had a horse and had to board her a long way from where they lived, they finally had to sell her as the cost was just sky high. I keep telling DW that when I retire, I want to move to Wyoming so I can have a pony!(she is not amused!)Whazzup wrote:She's pretty low maintenance since we have 2 acres for her. Unfortunately, she foundered when she was younger and she has laminitis in her feet and can't be ridden anymore. SusiSlicker will know what I'm talking about. We refer to Gidget as our pasture potato.
Oh hell no, that is insane brah! 8 bucks for milk. Hell, I'll produce my own if I gotta pay that much!hobie16 wrote:Based on what's happening within a mile of where I live, I have to believe timeshares will rule the world soon. The Marriott has gone 100%. The Hyatt next to them will start their tower this year. Westin built one at the bottom of our hill two years ago. It was so successful they finished a second building late last year. Up the beach from the Westin another humongo one is about half finished with another site just starting to be cleared between them.
Embassy Suites converted a couple of years ago. I just wish they'd cahnge the paint scheme from PINK.
Then there's the residences. The Ritz converted one wing. The Bay Hotel was torn down to put them in.
The county finally figured out they were losing out on a huge amount of occupancy taxes so they came up with a new property tax classification. The timeshares and residences are taxed at an ungodly rate compared to all other classifications. A week doesn't go by without some Mainlander writing a letter to the local paper complaining about being screwed out of some large. Dude, try living here and paying the 35% island tax every time you buy food, gas, etc. We now pay $8.00 for a gallon of milk.
KITTYS! I LOVES ME SOME KITTYS! MORE KITTYS! They are sooooooooooo cute! meow!Whazzup wrote:My kitty cats enjoying the screened porch.
