Which backstage goes to the monorail? Is that the Magic Kingdom one? we missed that last trip to WDW, but I understand that DLR has them too.

You can see it on the Magic behind the Steam Train Tour, which is awesome btw. And as long as you are taking pictures of the trains, you can get creative with your framing and get other shots ;)GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Which backstage goes to the monorail? When in January? We will be going at the end of January again for my 29th birthday!!! ;) :p: Maybe we can meet there! We are talking the Walk In Walt's Footsteps Tour this trip along with the Holidaytime Tour. I want to do some of the others as well.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Good to know, thanks!! We got our resses for WDW for April 28th to May 16th 2008. We are doing the Platinum pkg which will get us all the tours offered at no extra charge. They come with the Plat pkg. We are going to schedule Dolphins in Depth and a bunch of the other tours, Behind the Seeds at EPCOT, and some Magic Kingdom ones as well. I cannot wait. We have Yacht Club resort from April 28 to May 6th and then we move over to the Contemporary til May 16th. We took your advice Zazu and went for the 12th floor concierge at the Contemporary instead of 14th. But we put in for our usual MK side and at the Yacht for a concierge lake view room! I want to go already. And we willbe meeting with our realtor while there so we can start to make some plans. I still am hoping we can move out of here and do a rental in the Orlando area for a year to check it out. I need to start looking through theninfo at the tours and get them checked off! :D:

Ah, the train tour is at MK, not DLR. I did it when I was at WDW in Sept. My Dad boasts he gave DLR the idea of fix the track running back to the roundhouse since they changed it up a few years ago. He used to work for a railroad construction company and delivered quite a bit of stuff to DL for the trains and the track on main street.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Good to know, thanks!! Oh, that is too cool!! I havn't looked at the tours available at DLR yet, I know that we are going to do the segway there, as we did the one at Epcot and had a great time!!ktulu wrote:Ah, the train tour is at MK, not DLR. Did they give your dad any credit for his work and advice?

Aw susie, I am going to miss you by about 4 days at the end of your trip. I get out of school around the 14 and I am going home to see the fam/celebrate my birthday. Hopefully I can get down there around the 20th. Too bad, maybe another time!susislicker wrote:When in January? Nope, he gave them the suggestion they all nodded and looked interested. Then they asked if he was some kind of Engineer, he said nope, just a truck driver, and they blew him off after that.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Oh, that is too cool!!
