The wheelchair roller coaster at Indy sounds like a blast... At Space, we'd occasionally wind up with a wheelchair left over. So we'd take it to the top of the ramp, or the "Smoking Hallway" anyway, it's that giant ramp outside that leads to the HISTA Screen, and Helium tank room as well as the CDS computer... But the Best was taking the office chairs to the top of that ramp, and pushing off. That way you'r hurdle down the ramp and to top things off the seat would start to spin and you'd hit the walls all the way down! IT was great!
But my personaly favorite was the Lost and Found ride thru at the end of the night! All work lights on, and you sorta standing in row one looking for anything out there as you wiz on by.

oh my so many stories...
needless to say mass boredom on the jungle cruise resulted in many many a gust scratching their head in disbelief. some of my favorites;
Producing the Jungle Cruise version of Pinocchio, complete with ropes tied to a CM's hands and feen being handled from the bridge to make him dance
getting choked using the force on a boat full of guests
creating a runway effect by throwing flashlights in the river at night
going to the indy queue to heckle our fellow skippers from the shore
and many many more

Morrigoon wrote:Well, there's always the backstage wheelchair roller-coaster. We have this lovely long hallway behind the guest elevator with only one level spot in the middle. Bored CMs often hop in spare wheelchairs and just push off at the top - well except for that one person who pushed the lead uphill (at a run) and let go before the top - lead crashed face first into the wall
I remember that...good times..Just one of a thousnad memories that try as I might I'll never forget...

A few more Jungle Cruise standards for passing the time...
-Me standing arms outstreched over the "this way to civalazation" sign as Erik K. pulls up and says look ..Chris is leading you to salvation...no wait that's civilazation..get down Chris
-Matt N. and the "tiki Room ending"
-Two CM's one male and one female putting on straw hats and reeds in thier mouth rolling up their pants and sitting on the catwalk feet in the water. I was luaghing so hard I couldn't finish my unload speil all I could get out was..say goodbye to Tom and Becky over there..
-Jerad and our scooby doo ending
-Two words "Dock Jokes"

Now
there's a good idea...I'm going to have to figure out a good excuse to call over there next time I get bored.
I would always find a reason to call Califorina attractions whenever I got bored. It wouldn't always confuse them as much as it would confuse some of the people I work with.

Just a few things we used to do over at jungle...
Call up florida attraction and ask for a ramndom cast member..i.e. yes hello is bob there? and keep score how many times you get a yes keep going untill you come up with the most bizarre names you can think of..double points if you get them.
Call their City Hall and state your lonely and just want to talk...
Wait for the info board to call us at jungle and ask how long our wait time was...we'd then transfer them to Florida's jungle and wait for WDW's Jungle to try to explain to DL's Info board why their wait time was "35 min standby and 10 min fastpass"
Call a random attraction and state you are from lost and found and have a guest looking for ther henway...when lost and found asks "what's a henway(hen wiegh) proceed to tell them "oh about five ounds 7 oz "and hang up.

Used the Goofy Birthday line before, sending it to other attractions towers.
Use to go up above the Hall of promise in Indy and pour water on the guests as the jeeps would pass under, or just pour it on the track and after about the third jeep went by, the wheels would spin out and cause the jeep to time out (for you non indy peps it just shut itself off) and the break the ride down. That one was good for bussy days with no down times yet and mean/stupid guests. Not that I ever did it or anything. RIGHT!!!
Go up to Clift at splash and flag the crown sensor causing the lift to stop and ride to break down, that one was a while cause Maintnance could never figure out what caused the sensor to be flagged.
would hang logs at the very end of C lift / drop 5 just before it fell into free fall. that one was always fun.
throw pennies at unsuspecting guests from the inside of the rotunda and station at Indy

Im surprised I haven't sen this one:
Call up the Info board and ask them what their wait time is
Stick Water Bottles in the front fender of the Indy Jeeps hoping that they will fall out and onto the track
Sit in the Jungle Cruise Queue and interact in one of the secnes.

That was always a fun one because they would get mad or not quite understand what I was asking!

From what I recall every inch of the parade route was covered. Is anybody out there capable of pointing me in the right direction for the ones I havent found yet?
As I recall there is one on the west side of Matterhorn Way that is discuised as a parade light. You can't see it when the lights are on, as its neighbors are too bright and mask it, but during the day if you look closely you can see a circle cut out of the mesh that covers the single-gel floods. I always thought it was particularly clever.
