Rampant Illiteracy at WDW

There are some employees like that at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. But there was an incident, where a line cutter at El Toro, cut the whole line and sat in the front row! Everyone was screaming and booing. So they locked the train. He was in laughing and what not, when all of a suddon the ops say, "Hold train". The next thing you know, there was security in the station going to the guy who cut!

The last time i was at Six Flags, NJ was in the 80's when Rolling Thunder was the newest ride. back then i remember it was a horror, because the line cutting was rampant. the large groups of the inner city kids that were bussed in would cut the lines in group and no one did anything about it. the park was dirty and the amount of gum stuck inside the queues was awful. i know they cleaned it up since then. and i'm so glad when i hear that the line cutters get ejected fromthe parks.

Funny you should say that. I, too, am a member and the drunkest I have ever been was at a MENSA meet. :D:

And my favorite thing about being a member of MENSA? You know who is in MENSA also? Asia Carrera. Oh yes, the very hot porn star. THAT is why my DH tested in. She actually belonged to the same pregnancy MB that I did when I was having my son, and is very nice, too.

I haven't been there since 1987. I know the management has changed, and things are better than they were in the 80's, but nothing keeps you away from a theme park like a stabbing on Easter Sunday.

One major reason I don't go to any Six Flags theme park is the horrible way they "enforce" the rules. SGs are cheating at everything: parking, cutting in line, shoving, etc. You name it. Oddly, Six Flags management won't get off its butts to do anything because I've visited a few message boards and noticed that it's a major problem at a lot of their parks. I wonder if it's hurting their profits big-time.

If the person is not obviously a Brit, just say "Oh, that is in UTC (or GMT) and the time has already passed, sorry but you can no longer use this."

The SG will be trying to figure out what UTC or GMT is that they will walk away confused.

.......i honestly don't even know how you'd be able to respond to that, serious or sarcastic. if it's a timezone thing, they might be able to get away with it. but if they're from the same timezone...

The one I liked yesterday was the guy who told me my clock on the bus was ten minutes slow. Now, if there's an error or the system freezes, that will happen. However, I looked at the MDT, compared it to my watch, and they were saying the same thing. I asked what time the sign said and he replied the same time. I told him I must have gone through a time warp or something, because my watch said the same thing as the reader board. I even asked another guest and they said their watch said the same time. He still said that the clock was off by ten minutes.

Maybe you should of asked if his watch was 10 minutes fast.

In reality, who gives a rats ass if the time on the bus is off. If you are that late for an appointment/ADR/etc that you are clock watching on the bus, It's your fault, not ours.

It is a way of coping with a problem. They believe the bus should be there at 10:00 but it is not there until 10:10 thus the bus clock is off by ten minutes. I can be the only plausible answer. We know he is wrong and he probably does to but he needs an answer to why the bus is ten minutes late.
We know the bus is not ten minutes late but he thinks so thus it is ten minutes late even though he is wrong.
