Re: Brushes with fame
At least I might be able tell about that without mentioning I was there in a freakin' homemade Star Trek uniform...
I swear, once I was working rope drop at Epcot and there was a guest in a full ST: Enterprise uniform. So weird. I also saw a bunch of NX-01 hats during my tour of duty at Epcot, and M:S wasn't even open yet!

Re: Brushes with fame
I have seen/met in Redd Rockett's:
Patricia Richardson (mom from Home Improvement)
Laura Innes (Dr. Kerry Weaver from E.R.)
Tom Hamilton from Aerosmith (Who talked to us in salads for like 5 minutes and told us we were too cute to be working in foods. Awww.)
Tom Hanks & family
Tommy Lasorda (Please sir, let me steer you away from the Chicken Fusilli or the Spicy Sausage Sauce. I don't want your next heart attack to be on my hands.)
Anna Nicole Smith (and some guy she picked up in the gutter across the street, or so we guessed.)
Various Middle Eastern Royalty
Various basketball players (Sorry, don't follow the sport or I would know who they were.)
Triple H (I think he's a wrestler?)
Newt Gingrich and Mary Bono
When I worked Knott's Scary Farm, Chris Cornell came through my maze.
And when I worked at the AMC Theatres in Fullerton, we had to kick Screech out of our theater for demanding a private showing for his "posse" of like 6 people, but wouldn't pay for the rest of the seats.

The next person who tells me "I want a fresh one" is getting a Countdown Chicken Fusilli up their bum.
Re: Brushes with fame
Did he have his championship belt and Ric Flair with him? And how many extra seats did he need for his nose? (Sorry. Wrestling fan humor...)ExR2P2 wrote:Triple H (I think he's a wrestler?)

Re: Brushes with fame
Tyson is actually pretty cool in person.
I kind of wish I didn't talk to him for the moment that I did because every time I see him on TV, I can't help but laugh at how hard he plays a heel when he's that cool of a guy.
I heard HHH takes about four cars (on Rock n Roller Coaster), but I can't confirm this.

Re: Brushes with fame
During lunch Thurs. or Fri. abt 4 - 5 Carl Malone & his family were strolling BOP with Plaid at DCA. His son was doing The Moon Walk & almost fell. :) Abt 8 people got all excited & ran to the windows, doors wondering who plaid had. Was only Malone. He's ALWAYS at DLR. Can't figure out why they would go BOP @ DCA. Nothing there to see. Perhaps parked his huge SUV in back of TOT. Anyone see him in either park?

Re: Brushes with fame
The other day we had none other than the man of G-Force Records, Steven Tyler. He came down with his wife and (one of) his daughters and the first time he jumped on the ride, and made the mistake of not wearing his hat....
Needless to say, the place went apeshit. The second time he went around, he wore his hat, not one peep was heard.
Course this worked real easy for a plan I thought up in like two second. A girl came up to me outside and said "Hey I heard Steven Tyler is here"
"Yeah, and?"
"Well can we meet him?"
"Sure, he's over in Studio C right now."
So about 20 minutes later, the girl comes up to me with a "Playful, evil glance" and says "That was a video!"
"Well, you didn't specify that you wanted to see Steven that way"
*We talked for a bit more, forgot the rest of the convo.*
In the past few weeks I've also run into Curt Shilling (Now one of our managers is from Boston and he started going nuts over the guy, he's a super big fan of Curt).
Looking forward to meeting Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels (Again). Every year they come down, pratically any CM they come across they like to say hi to them.

My boyfriend was working Space Mountain when Steven Tyler came on, and he was at group. He's a huge fan and it's the one time he didn't trust himself with a celeb, he grabbed someone else to group a couple of rockets, including the one with Steven. I just laughed at him. :)

Re: Brushes with fame
Johnny Depp was in DCA last night. The gal cropping pics on TOT had no idea who Johnny Depp was.
She was so funny as she looked blank when we told her abt J Depp. Heard he was in the park(s) working on a documentary. Tried to sneak a peak as he passed Greetings but line to view grew too long. Darn!!!
