After clicking the URL tab and pasting the graphic URL into the box, you have to deselect "Retrieve remote file and reference locally."

Easy peasy. Find an image you'd like to add to a post. Put your cursor on it and right click your mouse. A box will appear with some stuff in it. Select Copy Image Location. That will record where the image is.

Go to SGT and either start a thread or do a reply. In the grey bar above the text field click on That will bring up


Click on From URL. That will bring up


Put your cursor in the white box below URL. Click Paste from the Edit pulldown menu of your browser. That will insert the image address you recorded earlier.

Click on the check mark below the white URL box. The check mark will disappear. Click OK at the bottom of the box.

Click Preview Post to confirm image is there. Note: Some sites do not allow their images to be used. If this happens then all you'll see is a URL address instead of the image.
