Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Someone on one of Jeff Dunham's specials asked Walter why chicken breasts don't have nipples. His response included the fact that it was a good thing, since if it was cold enough, they would probably break the packaging.

A life? What is this "life" thing you're talking about?

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…

Big Wallaby wrote:Strange, the things that don't really have bearing on our lives, but if you look closely they can turn out to be interesting. For me, one of those things is dates and times of things in my life.

I was born on April 24. 4/24
My wife has the day March 24. 3/24 She was born right at midnight so her parents were given the choice of the day before or that day. They chose the 24th. So she is one month, to the day, older than me. March 24th is also the day I went through Traditions, and my start day at Disney.
Our wedding day is 1/23/04. I prefer to write it 1/23/4.

Space Shuttle Challenger had it's fateful voyage on January 28, 1986. My brother was born in 1986, and January 28th is my grandmother's (mother's side) birthday.

My grandmother on my father's side had the birthday of April 7. So did my third grade teacher... who shares my grandmother's and my last name.

My dad's birthday month and day are my mom's birthday month and day, but reversed. 12/5 and 5/12.

On the day I earned my CDL, I started at 8:00 in the morning, missed 8 points on my pretrip and 8 points on my drive test. That was August 8. Two years later, at my next job, my hire date was August 8, and the job after that.

My wife is a twin. I am the twin that survived my mom's miscarriage.

There's more, but that's the most interesting stuff.

No, I am not into numerology. I just remember numbers really well. I could tell you the phone number at most of the jobs I've had, I know my wife's, father's, mother's, brother's and a couple friends' SSN's, I can tell you my AAA number and all my credit card numbers off the top of my head. Always been wired that way.
Goodness! Ralphie was born 4/23! He is a numbers guy too. He is sorta like rainman (my nickname for him)! He can look at license plate numbers and tell you which are prime numbers, natural numbers and other fascinating, weird math head stuff! My parent's anniversary is 4/24. They have been married 65 years! Ralphie likes to put paper money in his wallet in the order of the serial numbers within the denominations! He is weird like that! One of his hobby's is trying to find the next digit in pi. My hobby is trying to find a piece of pie!
YUM!

Preach it, brother! :D: What is life without SGT?

When I went on my WDW trip a few months back I was glad I was able to get online some at my brother's place. I would have missed a LOT of SGT in the week I was there if not for that.

I want it to be January 15, 2008 that way I avoid my bleeping birthday and holidays.

Give me an hour to make a happy thought. I do not live in Burma, oh me happy. I see my car keys and that is happiness. I live in America so am happy.

I wonder if there are other marsupials in SGT.
